Re!gnite Africa is pleased to officially welcome three members to its family. Some of them have worked with us in the past month but this announcement serves as a welcome note and appreciation for the dedication and support they have given us. It is never too late to officially welcome someone, right? Below is a little brief about each one of them:

sarah owembabaziSarah Owembabazi, who previously served as the cohort lead of the 2016 Re!gnite Africa Career Positioning Program (CPP) rejoined the team as a Partnership and Programs Coordinator as of April 2017. She will be leading key organizational efforts to grow the organization’s partnership network, especially in the upcoming 2017 CPP.  Sarah will also steer other programs’ activities with partners and build relationships for future collaboration. This talented youth leader brings strong experience and passion in youth leadership with organizations such the Rotaract Club of the University where she serves as President and as a member of the East African Youth Ambassador’s platform (EAYAP) where she advocates for SDGs.  Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; Entrepreneurship and Business Promotion from Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU).

Badru MulumbaBadru Mulumba, a seasoned journalist, and media trainer joins the team as a mentor and strategic advisor on fundraising efforts of the organization. He will lead the creation of coaching content for youth interested in journalism and communications. Badru has been a strong supporter of Re!gnite Africa since its establishment but this announcement serves to reaffirm his commitment to work with young people on their paths to professional discovery and growth. Nicholas supported the team with online graphics activities for the newsletter and social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter). With a B.FA in Graphics Design, Nicholas brought his expertise and experience to the work he led and we are appreciative of his contribution.
