Re!gnite Africa’s annual Carrier Positioning Program (CPP) is here again, bigger, and better! Out of over 70 applications, we are excited to share that 35 of these were selected for this year’s intake. It is a competitive program that targets fresh graduates nationwide; however, current intake is limited because we would like balance the trainer, fellow, and mentor ratio to ensure that we give selected fellows the best at the end of the program.

In the past two weeks, the RA team welcomed fellows for orientation and conducted the first workshop focusing on self awareness as a basis for career positioning. During these gatherings, Re!gnite hosted professionals that included Ms. Dorah Lsoto, an Entrepreneur and Renewable Energy Researcher,  and Ms. Harriet Anena, a Journalist, Writer and Poet who both shared their career journeys and interacted with Fellows. The RA team leading efforts for this year’s program include Rehema, Badru and John.

This hybrid program targets highly motivated young professions fresh out of university and from various disciplines, and prepares them for working world by equipping them with critical thinking and problem-solving skills and practical soft and technical skills in their fields of expertise, and offering  them mentors to guide them throughout their experience. All this is done with both in-person group workshop trainings and individual follow-up coaching sessions. Fellows who complete all requirements of the program receive Certificates of Excellence and Participation at the end.

This year’s program is hosted by MAAD Advertising and sponsored by DreamLine Products Ltd. Below are head shots of some fellows. To know more about each fellow’s profile, click this link.
